Custom API integration
When no standard connector exists, we build an integration on the APIs of your systems.

System integration for SMEs whose systems do not talk to each other. We select, build and run the integration that lets orders, stock and invoices flow without re-keying.
The problem
An order arrives in the webshop, gets typed into the ERP by hand and then again into the WMS. Stock in the webshop runs a day behind. Invoicing waits for an export someone runs on Fridays. It works, as long as that person is in.
An integration that was built quickly breaks as soon as one of the systems is updated. By then nobody remembers how it was put together or who should fix it. The longer this goes on, the more your team works around the systems instead of with them.
Our role
We take the integration from start to finish: choosing the right approach, building it, testing it and then running it. You get one point of contact, even when three suppliers sit on your side of the connection.
We start by deciding which system is the master for what. The ERP usually owns articles and prices, the WMS owns physical stock, the CRM owns the customer relationship. Only once that is settled do we look at the technology. Where a standard connector fits, we use it. We build custom work only where it cannot.
An integration is not finished until you can see when something goes wrong. That is why error alerts, a way to replay failed messages and a named owner are part of what we deliver, not something added later.
BizBloqs
We are a BizBloqs partner and often work with its integration layer for warehouse and order flows. According to BizBloqs, it builds and maintains the connections itself, with standard connectors for Exact Online, AFAS, webshops and shipping platforms, among others. Systems outside that catalogue can be connected through an API or file exchange.
If you have a question about an integration, you ask Operion. We agree with you what gets connected and how, and we coordinate the work with BizBloqs and your other suppliers.
Want ERP and WMS implemented together as a standard? Then the connections to bank, tax authority, webshop and carriers are possible from day one. See ERP and WMS implementation.
Cost and lead time
What an integration costs and how long it takes depends on the systems involved and the number of data flows. After a free intake call, we give you a fixed quote.
Process
01
Which systems, which data and which processes depend on it? We record which system is master for what, and where things go wrong today.
02
We define the messages that travel between systems, the connector for each one and what happens when something fails. Standard where possible, custom where needed.
03
The integration is first set up on a test environment and run through real scenarios from your daily work.
04
Go-live with monitored message flows. After that we run the integration, so updates and changes do not land on your team.

More on AFAS integrationQuestions
System integration makes your business systems, such as ERP, WMS, webshop and CRM, work together so that data is entered once and is correct everywhere.
A standard connector already exists for a given pair of systems and is configured. We build custom work only when there is no standard connector or when your process genuinely differs.
We agree that up front. We can take over the running of it, so you keep one point of contact for incidents and changes. After go-live you get four weeks of aftercare. After that you can reach us on working days from 08:30 to 17:00, and we respond within 24 hours.
Tell us which systems you use and where data is re-keyed today. We will tell you which integration fits and what we need to get started.
